We find ourselves in a changeable health crisis, and in-person Doula support may not be an option at your chosen place of birth. Whether you want additional support for your birth partner or you just aren't sure you want an extra person in your birth space, Virtual Doula support may be right for you.
COUNT ON VIRTUAL BIRTH SUPPORT WHEN AND WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST
You know you want the support of a Birth Doula, but with COVID, in-person support just might not be possible, or comfortable for you. Not to worry, all of Arielle's services are offered virtually, from Prenatal Consultations, to continuous Birth Support, and Postpartum Check-ins. All the support you need, virtually.

During our virtual Prenatal Sessions, Arielle will guide the conversations you and your partner or family members are having, helping you uncover the possibility this experience holds for you. She will walk you through the physiological process of birth and the intricate interplay of hormones. Building on your own instincts and inner wisdom, Prenatal Sessions will encourage trust in your birthing ability.
And with trust, comes the knowledge that hard work is ahead. So, together you will explore coping skills, for you and your partner, build your coping toolbox and determine your own coping style. Finally, with a focus on your birth preferences, we will discuss how medical interventions can be solutions, helping you achieve your birth goals.

Add-on services include:

Additional Prenatal Sessions. These might be appropriate if you are seeking a VBAC or if you have with a history of trauma that may affect your birth experience.

TENS unit rental for your exclusive use during your labor. I provide a TENS unit when I attend your labor, however this gives you unlimited use and access to a labor-specific TENS unit from 36 weeks through your birth to help you get through any aches and pains in those last weeks, as well as immediately when your birth begins.

Childbirth and Newborn Education Intensive. In addition to our prenatal sessions, which focus on preparing for your birth goals, these education sessions are a great supplement to your information gathering. Why not do your childbirth and newborn education with your Doula?

24-hour post birth breastfeeding support session. Once you have had a few chances to practice nursing together, this session 24-hours following your birth supports you and your baby on your breastfeeding journey. With a visit to you in the hospital or at your home, get the support and encouragement from your trusted Doula.

Additional Postpartum Sessions. These might be appropriate if you do not have family in the area, are first time parents and feel unsure of how to best care for your baby, or just need a little extra TLC during the first few weeks, in lieu of working with a separate Postpartum Doula.
